SUMMARY:A Hero's Journey Empowerment Camp for Girls
DESCRIPTION:It’s time for our annual Hero’s Journey with Horses for youth! This is such an important time of life and we are thrilled to offer this meaningful opportunity. \nThis program offers a pathway for empowerment and self-discovery for youth. This 2 /12 day camp will provide self-esteem boosting\, confidence building experiences. Our next camp is for girls\, ages 11-13! \nBoys\, ages 11-13\, Postponed. If interested please contact Brenda.\nGirls\, ages 11-13\, July 31 – August 2\nYouth today- face incredible challenges\, be it disconnections from social interaction via electronic devices\, low self-esteem\, being bullied\, the impact of the pandemic and on and on. All of which can create difficult behaviors\, anxiety\, acting out and some tough times for all\, including parents and caregivers. \nDuring these fun and powerful workshops children & youth learn to communicate feelings in healthy ways and gain tools to increase self-esteem and much more. Really to discover the hero within! \n \n“A Hero’s Journey meant an experience meeting new friends (humans and horses) finding out more about myself\, learning things I never knew before\, and supporting friends through challenges.”  ~Bernadette\, 11 \n“I’m so lucky to be here! I met new friends. Some human\, some not. But\, I’m so glad to have come and will be coming again if I get the chance.”   ~ Brylee\, 13 \n“I felt like my daughter could explore her emotions in a non-threatening way. This is a great self-esteem booster for any child.\nEarly bird pricing is $379. The cost after July 11th for the girls  is $429.00 per child and includes dinner the first evening\, snacks the following 2 days and all materials.
