Wisdom Through Horses Camps for Youth

I am excited to add Wisdom Through Horses™ to our youth programs!  Wisdom Through Horses is a heart-centered, equine-partnered youth development program that supports emotional awareness, confidence, and authentic connection.

Led by official Wisdom Through Horses™ facilitators and grounded in presence-based learning, this non-riding program invites youth to learn with horses ~ not simply through instruction, but rather through relationship.

Helping Youth Discover Confidence, Emotional Awareness & Inner Wisdom ~ With Horses as Guides

Wisdom Through Horses™ is a 5-part non-riding, equine-partnered experiential program designed to support youth in developing self-awareness, emotional intelligence, healthy boundaries, and confidence through guided connection with horses. We are offering this program as a 2 ½ day camp over the summer.

The program offers a calm, supportive environment where youth, ages 8-17, are invited to slow down, listen inward, and learn through presence and relationship.

Wisdom Through Horses™ is a thoughtfully designed youth development program that blends experiential learning, reflection, and meaningful connection with horses. Rather than teaching about horses, participants learn with horses ~ through observation, interaction, and shared presence.

This is a ground-based, non-riding program. No prior horse experience is required.

The program is especially supportive for youth who are:

  • Sensitive, thoughtful, or intuitive
  • Navigating stress, transitions, or self-doubt
  • Seeking greater confidence and emotional awareness
  • Curious about horses and the natural world

Throughout the program, participants are supported in:

  • Listening to inner wisdom
  • Grounding and balance
  • Energy awareness and boundaries
  • Intuition and the senses
  • Integration and self-trust

This program includes guided activities, direct interaction with the horses, and age-appropriate reflection. Participants are encouraged to engage thoughtfully and respectfully, with support provided to meet them where they are.

Emotional and physical safety, choice, and respect for both youth and horses are central to this work.

Details:

  •  2 ½ day camp offered twice this summer. June 17-19 and August 12-14. We begin on Wednesdays 3:30-6:30p which includes dinner. Thursday and Friday are full days.
  • Ages: 8-17, limited to 6

Does my child need horse experience?
No. No riding or prior horse experience is required.

Is this therapy or counseling?
No. Wisdom Through Horses® is an experiential learning program, not a clinical or therapeutic service.

What should my child wear?
Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for a barn environment.
